Rockland — The Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., welcomes Sherrie Clark, RN, a professional Bowen practitioner, June 4 at 6 p.m. for a free talk on how Bowen therapy can change one’s entire posture.
Participants will experience hands-on demonstrations of Bowen and learn some easy home stretches to sustain correct posture. Bowen moves can relax tight, sore muscles; inflamed and painful tendons and may correct the entire body’s spinal posture. It can help people who suffer from migraines, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, or any joint pain, such as neck, TMJ, hip, knee, shoulder or ankle.
The event, cosponsored by Destination Wellness Midcoast Maine and the Rockland Public Library, is open to the public. For more information, call 594-0310.
